!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! has some shots of this camoflauged test mule for the next-generation Camaro; they include photos of it next to the Impala and Escalade.

It's about damned time that a 6th-gen prototype was caught out in the wild, what with all the spy shots there are of its V-series platform-mates. Granted, this one seems to be a powertrain mule; its looks are way too similar to the 5th-gen to be evolutionary styling, IMO.

Now we just need one of these spy photographers to slip some scales under all 4 corners while the engineers are in the head.

God that escalade looks good. Now all I can imagine is an isometric-style pixelized GTA game that has little isometric Escalades in it :D

*sigh* I hope that's just a mule for the drivetrain, because if not, GM, MAKE THE GODDAMN WINDOWS BIGGER!

So much for the rumor of taking cues from the 70 (70.5 for the nitpicky) Camaro.

You know.

The one that didn't look like a tarted up Nova.

The one Pininfarina complimented..

The one that stuck around for more than three years.

Let the Trailerhood and Mullet jokes fly..

Somehow the windows look smaller.

I was personally hoping for the front end to be something along these lines.

I'm hoping that that's just the intended result of the camo, since it seems to cover the upper and lower edges of the window.

Maybe it is. If it's not, then I expect a shit storm.

I think this might be a powertrain mule. That looks way too similar to the 5th gen.

I kinda figured that; there was that report of the 6th gen having evolutionary styling, but the greenhouse looks much too similar. I don't know why they used this much camo, as the only differences I can pick out are the mirrors and hood vents. Keeps us guessing, I suppose.

Dunno why, but from a quick glance I mistook the pictured Escalade for a 1st-gen SRX.

It better be dropping about 350-400 pounds across the board. At least. Mustang is kicking its ass. And I can't help but think how amazing the Z/28 would be with even 300 less pounds to haul around.
